Le CISSS de Chaudière-Appalaches est responsable de veiller au maintien et à l’amélioration de l’état de santé et de bien-être de la population de la région de la Chaudière-Appalaches . Il regroupe 105 installations réparties dans 136 municipalités dont les villes de Lévis, Saint-Georges, Sainte-Marie, Montmagny et Thetford. - 4 hôpitaux - 34 centres d’hébergement et de soins de longue durée (dont 5 CHSLD privés conventionnés) - 23 CLSC - 1 maison de naissance - 2 unités de médecine familiale - 21 groupes de médecine de famille (GMF) dont 2 groupes de médecine de famille universitaire (GMF-U) et 1 groupe de médecine de famille réseau (GMF-R) Plus d'une cinquantaine d'installations adaptées aux besoins spécifiques : services spécialisés en jeunesse, déficience intellectuelle et en trouble du spectre de l’autisme, déficience physique, dépendance, services externes pour aînés, etc. Notre équipe intervient également à domicile pour les personnes qui ne peuvent se déplacer ainsi qu’en milieu scolaire et dans les groupes de médecine familiale. Nous profitons de l’expertise de près de 12 000 employés et de près de 800 médecins.
