Creatives + Investigations Climate and Cities is an evolving collective of creative friends that formed in 2019 to explore the impact of climate change within the urban environment. Through design and research, we imagine futures and projects to engage in climate action and experiment with practical implementations of creative climate strategies. We develop methods and relentlessly improve our abilities to create new narratives, worlds, and environments.

De ambitie is om uit te blinken in het toepassen van nieuwe en bestaande kennis en technologie, en te investeren in een intensieve samenwerking tussen overheid, bewoners, bedrijven en instellingen. Uitgangspunt is de internationale vakwereld van kennis en innovatie te verbinden met de lokale gemeenschap. At Climate Connect, we are convinced that increasing collaboration among climate actors will enhance the global capacity to tackle climate change both locally and globally. Therefore we are providing a free and open source platform to empower climate actors to collaborate effectively with each other. Our platform aims to give visibility to environmental projects, connections to develop climate action globally, and measuring tools to estimate their impact.

Simply put, the Climate Cost Project identifies, analyses, and documents the social and economic impacts of climate change across America. Climate impacts, such as extreme weather and exacerbated health concerns, are severely affecting the livelihoods of the American Public. Many of these costs are not captured by present research, resulting in a systematic underestimation of public funding as well as insufficient data to guide mitigation and adaptation strategies. The Climate Impact Census aims to address data gaps by surveying public and private losses, helping policymakers and communities combat the systemic issues that exacerbate economic damages. Our work is supported by generous individual donors, the Alex C. Walker Foundation, and the Kettering Family Foundation, with fiscal sponsorship from the Open Space Institute.

On 31st January 2022, the Climate Disclosure Standards Board (CDSB) was consolidated into the IFRS Foundation to support the work of the newly established International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB). While this site and its resources remain relevant for preparers looking to improve sustainability disclosure until such time as the ISSB issues its IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Standards on such topics, no further work or guidance will be produced or published by CDSB.
