Η ιστορία της Cosmos Sport ξεκινάει περίπου 40 χρόνια πριν, στη Χερσόνησο του Ηρακλείου Κρήτης, όταν το πρώτο ομώνυμο κατάστημα άνοιξε το 1982, εστιάζοντας στην ικανοποίηση του πελάτη, στο προϊόν και στην αθλητική κουλτούρα. Μέσα στα επόμενα χρόνια, κατέγραψε μια σταθερή αναπτυξιακή πορεία, επεκτείνοντας τις δραστηριότητές της σε μεγάλα αστικά κέντρα, αλλά και στην Κύπρο.
