Cycling New South Wales is the peak body for cycling in NSW, with over 60 affiliated cycling clubs and over 8,000 members. We administer the sport of track and road cycling in NSW, providing support to our network of cycling clubs and our members. We host state-level cycling events across NSW. We select and manage state representative teams for national and international competition. We are responsible for administering the coaching, officiating and race sanctioning system for the sport. Cycling NSW is affiliated as a state member of Cycling Australia.

Cycling New Zealand is the national sporting federation for all cycling codes at all levels. Cycling Without Age is a movement started in 2012 by Ole Kassow. Ole wanted to help the elderly get back on their bicycles, but he had to find a solution to their limited mobility. The answer was a rickshaw and he started offering free bike rides to the local nursing home residents. He then got in touch with a civil society consultant, Dorthe Pedersen, at the municipality of Copenhagen, who was intrigued by the idea and together they bought the first 5 rickshaws and launched Cycling Without Age, which has now spread to all corners of Denmark and to 27 countries around the world. Cycling Without Age currently has approx. 5,000 volunteer pilots manning nearly 1,000 rickshaws giving 100,000 elderly nursing home residents the right to wind in their hair.

Cycling without Age Singapore is a registered charity with IPC status. Your donations will be entitled to tax relief. We are a charity with a vision to bring joy to lonely/isolated seniors and engage them in happy hours of community activities to reduce social isolation. Nostalgia is a social emotion; it has been said that, during nostalgic reverie, “the mind is ‘peopled”. Nostalgia strengthens social bonds and magnifies perceptions of social support, thus counteracting the effect of loneliness. It is especially effective for those children who have permanent conditions such as lost limbs, sense of balance, muscle weakness and co-ordination. Something as simple as a bike really does change their lives far more than Mike ever anticipated at the start.
