We fund research into the causes and complications of diabetes, develop improved management and treatment options, and seek to ultimately find a cure. Diabetes Digital Media (DDM) provide AI-led, data-driven population health and engagement solutions to empower patients to achieve their health goals, with over 1.2 million members cross-platform. DDM work with global partners within healthcare, insurance, and diagnostics to engage populations and improve clinical health outcomes leading to reduced costs for the healthcare system. Users are empowered with data and AI-led insights: the platform is connected with health IoT devices and popular activity trackers providing verifiable data including blood glucose, insulin, nutrition, activity and more. Vi skal fremme diabetessaken politisk og gi kvalitetssikret informasjon og veiledning − slik at mennesker med diabetes får god behandling samt kunnskap og motivasjon til å mestre livet med diabetes. Diabetesforbundet skal være førstevalget for alle som søker informasjon og ønsker å holde seg oppdatert om diabetes. Vi gir kvalitetssikret og uavhengig diabetesinformasjon som bidrar til trygghet, kunnskap og god egenbehandling. Diabetesforbundet skal bidra til økt kompetanse om diabetes hos helsepersonell, slik at personer med diabetes sikres best mulig behandling. Vi har i underkant av 33 000 medlemmer fordelt på fylkeslag over hele landet.

DiabetesLab treats diabetes as a mathematical problem working on first AI trained system to help people with diabetes. We provide software powered by data science and targeted at insulin-treated people. Those interested in sports may feel discomfort in approaching it. We are solving this by building an application that provides personalized advice before, during and after the exercise. Our web platform and mobile app analyze health-related data to provide advice on managing diabetes better, with features such as carbs dosing and insulin adjustments. Our team’s approach to helping people with insulin treated diabetes is simple – make use of data to keep glucose levels stable and minimize the risk of complications.

Diabetic Foot Australia (DFA) has been established to help reduce the incidence and impact of foot disease on the lives of Australians living with Diabetes. We have engaged with multiple partner organisations across Australia to create a national body for people suffering diabetic foot disease. A multidisciplinary approach to the Diabetic Foot patient is critical to delivery of a gold standard of treatment. We advocate a coordinated approach by health Professionals, Researchers, Government & Industry as critical to achieving our vision of ending avoidable amputations in a generation. DFA operate as an independent organisation, co-located with the Wound Management Innovation CRC. Our focus is divided into four key stakeholder groups: Patients, Researchers, Health Professionals and Industry. It is the tailored support of these groups that will ensue that DFA achieves its key objectives. DFAs primary objectives are to: Optimise national DFU evidence-based clinical practice, Stimulate national DFU clinical research, Reduce Australias national diabetes amputation rate, and, Empower Australia to become a leading nation in DFU management
