Company DIAKINISIS provides integrated logistics services since 1977. Today, the company's personnel numbers more than 650 people and the storage facilities cover a total area over 175,000 square meters, including the customs storage (AEOF). The company operates on an integrated management system (IQMS) that covers the requirements of 7 international standards, and manages 12 nationwide transhipment centers. It has a modern repackaging unit and state-of-the-art IT infrastructure.

Hospital, Specialized University and Care The headquarter is located at Majostuen in Oslo, Norway. Diakonhjemmet Hospital is responsible for general hospital services for approximately 135,000 inhabitants in Oslo. The Hospital specialises in the fields of rheumatology and rheumatic surgery. The Department of Psychopharmacology is a national centre of therapeutic drug monitoring and pharmacogenetic analyses, and of research in psychopharmacology and biological psychiatry. Diakonhjemmet is majority owner of VID Specialized University. The universities academic focus is centred on Health,- Social,- and Church related programs on the bachelor, master and PhD levels, and supported by ongoing research in all fields. Diakonhjemmet Hospital Pharmacy is a pioneer and a referral Pharmacy in Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Services. It is also well known for its Pharmaceutical Advisory Program for patients and Customers. Diakonhjemmet is developing Care as a new field of work, and owns Nordberghjemmet, Ammerudlunden, Sagenehjemmet AS – non profit nursing homes and Diakonhjemmet Home Care AS.

As lasting change is our goal, we need to change the underlying norms, power relations and structures that hold people in violence, oppression and poverty. To do that we work closely together with the people affected. We analyse, adapt and adjust our methods depending on where we are and what we are changing. We are not looking for quick fixes. We know that for change to happen we need three parts: knowledge, mobilisation and action. The first part is that drive and passion combined with knowledge of our rights. But for this to transform into actual change people need to come together, grow together and mobilize. Only then is the third part possible. Action. Rights can be claimed, defended, expressed and advocated depending on each context.
