Equal Education is a social enterprise that is committed to improving educational outcomes for those in care. We believe that collaborating directly with frontline teachers and social workers to develop technology that helps improve outcomes. Why is Equal Education working with Children's Services? To demonstrate that teacher/social worker-led, privacy-conscious innovation in education technology can help those on the ground focus on providing the best possible outcomes. We deeply believe in these partnerships and want to prove that this model improves children’s lives and teachers’ working environments, while also meeting the highest privacy and ethical standards. What do you mean by teacher/social worker-led technology development? Past technology implementations in education and social services have typically been top-down Government-wide deployments, which aren’t always aligned with frontline needs. Teachers and social workers are the real experts at identifying challenges in young people’s education, and how these obstacles could be overcome with new technology. If we can work directly with these teacher and social workers to co-develop technology and help it scale, we believe we can have a huge impact.

Equal Justice America is an independent non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation established in 1993. EJA has become a national leader in providing opportunities for law students to work with organizations that deliver civil legal services to those most in need. Our efforts expose a new generation of future lawyers to the urgency of pro bono assistance to our most vulnerable citizens. Students at more than 80 law schools now have the opportunity to take part in the Equal Justice America Fellowship Program.

The team has released the world’s first Diversity and Inclusion application in VR which became the most popular business application on Viveport (VR App Store) in Australia, the UK, and the US. Government and Corporate organisations are currently leveraging Equal Reality's software and expertise to generate their own customized VR simulations for Diversity, Inclusion and behavior learning. VR training allows you to literally see from the point of view of others, including those of a different gender, race, or ability level. Equal Reality has developed a unique experiential training method that enhances empathy and increases retention of information.
