The Issue Good vision is crucial for learning, yet 1 in 4 children have a vision problem that affects their ability to learn. The number of children with vision problems climbs even higher in lower-income children. In the U.S. alone, there are millions of children who cannot see the world clearly. It is important to note that vision impacts every aspect of a child’s life from learning, confidence, social interactions and particpiating in activities such as sports, art, or music.
