Einar Granum Kunstfagskole tilbyr toårig høyere yrkesfaglig utdanning i visuelle kunstfag, med spesialisering andre studieår innen tegning, maleri eller tredimensjonal kunst. Utdanningen gir et godt grunnlag for videre arbeid og fordypning innen kunst, arkitektur, design, illustrasjon og visuell kommunikasjon. Fullført og godkjent toårig høyere yrkesfaglig utdanning i visuelle kunstfag gir 120 studiepoeng og graden "høyere fagskolegrad i visuelle kunstfag".​ Skolen er tilknyttet Studentsamskipnaden (SiO). Undervisningen vektlegger både bredde, dybde og faglig relevans. Gjennom praktisk utprøving og tett individuell oppfølging av den enkelte, stimuleres studenten til selvstendig refleksjon og utforsking av det kunstfaglige området. Første studieår etablerer et grundig og bredt fundament for bruk av ulike teknikker og materialforståelse. Klassiske ferdigheter i tegning, form og farge står sentralt. Andre studieår velger studenten fordypningsområde; tredimensjonal kunst, tegning eller maleri. Skolens lokaler er store, lyse og åpne, og er med på å skape et unikt læringsmiljø for både studenter og ansatte. Lærerne våre har en solid bakgrunn som billedkunstnere, kunsthistorikere og pedagoger. De har bred kompetanse innen det visuelle kunstfeltet og spesielt inne de tre fordypningene tegning, maleri og tredimensjonal kunst. I tillegg til den faste fagstaben, møter studentene hvert år en rekke gjestelærere fra kunst-, design- og arkitekturfeltet. Studentene våre er aktivt med på å skape et godt miljø på skolen. Gjennom hele året arrangerer de ulike sosiale hendelser som topper seg med Granumfestivalen i april. Utdanningstilbudet ved Einar Granum Kunstfagskole er godkjent av Nasjonalt organ for kvalitet i utdanningen (NOKUT), og kvalifisert til full støtte hos Statens lånekasse for utdanning.
