EDECS for Engineering and Contracting was established in 1995 as a general civil engineering construction company focusing on heavy civil engineering works. Over 6.5 billion Egyptian Pounds ($415 million) worth of projects have been completed & delivered with a further over 10 billion Egyptian Pounds ($ 640 million), backlogs of projects to be completed in 2021. Over the last 26 years, EDECS has become a significant player in; marine constructions, infrastructure, soil improvement, bridges, roads and earth-moving construction works in Egypt Building on our success in delivering projects to governmental and private sector clients with highly appreciated performance in terms of quality, safety, time, and cost, we extended our operations to Saudi Arabia (as an investment company) specializing in marine works with plans to further extend our operations to other the Middle East and Gulf area. El-Kretsen is the business sectors service company for handling producer responsibility for WEEE and batteries in Sweden. El-Kretsen is owned by 20 business associations and is run on a non-profit basis. Our system is designed to ensure environmental friendly handling and is run together with all the municipals of Sweden. We only work with certified recycling undertakings and in accordance with Swedish environmental regulations. By affiliating to El-Kretsen, producers do not have to set up a system of their own. Our system meets and exceeds the statutory requirements for all undertakings, which means a practical and cost-efficient solution for affiliated customers. Since 2001 El-Kretsen has built up its infrastructure and know-how about recycling of WEEE and batteries. We are interested in sharing our knowledge and also to learn more.
