The Finnish Heritage Agency preserves Finlands material cultural heritage: collects, studies and distributes knowledge of it. The Agency is a cultural and research institution, but it is also a government authority charged with the protection of archaeological sites, built heritage, cultural-historically valuable environments and cultural property, in collaboration with other officials and museums. The Agency offers a wide range and diversified range of services, a professional staff of specialists, the exhibitions and collections of its several museums, extensive archives, and a specialized scientific library, all of which are at the disposal of the general public. The Finnish Heritage Agency is attached to the Ministry of Education.

Finnish Hockey League (Liiga) was founded in 1975. It is owned by it´s 15 teams located in 14 major cities in Finland. Liiga is the most watched sport league in Finland with total turnover of approx. 100 million Euros. It is the only fully professional sports series in Finland with 750 full-time professionals. Liiga season starts in the middle of September and lasts until April and there is 2,2-2,4 million spectators in arenas every season. Liiga reaches more than 3 million people with it's own digital and social media channels on a monthly basis. Jääkiekon SM-liiga Oy (Liiga) on perustettu vuonna 1975 ja on 15 Liiga-seuran omistama yritys, joka pyörittää jääkiekon ylintä kilpailusarjaa Suomessa. Liiga on Suomen ylivoimaisesti suosituin ja kiinnostavin urheilusarja, jonka yhteenlaskettu liikevaihto on yli 100 milj €, Liiga kerää kauden aikana 2,2-2,4 miljoona katsojaa kiekkoareenoille. Liigan ja Liiga-seurojen digitaalinen ja sosiaalinen media tavoittaa parhaimmillaan n. 3 miljoonaa suomalaista joka kuukausi.

The Finnish Medicines Agency Fimea is the national competent authority for regulating pharmaceuticals. As a central administrative agency operating under the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health it promotes the health and safety of the population by regulating medicinal, blood and tissue products, and by developing the pharmaceuticals sector. Fimea’s aim is to improve the pharmaceutical service for the population and the safety, appropriateness and economy of pharmacotherapy. Fimea also enchances and provides the general population and other interested parties with impartial information on medicinal products. Fimea will work in a close cooperation with relevant parties and stakeholders in the pharmaceutical field. Fimea will also strengthen its collaboration with the European Medicines Agency (EMA) with regard to the regulatory processes of medicinal products in the EU, and will further expand its international cooperation. Lääkealan turvallisuus- ja kehittämiskeskus Fimea on sosiaali- ja terveysministeriön alainen virasto, joka valvoo lääkkeitä, veri- ja kudostuotteita sekä kehittää lääkealaa väestön terveydeksi. Viraston tehtäviin kuuluvat lääkealan lupa- ja valvontatehtävät, tutkimus- ja kehittämistehtävät sekä lääketiedon tuottaminen ja välittäminen lääkehuollon ja lääkehoitojen vaikuttavuuden parantamiseksi. Fimea on osa eurooppalaista lääkevalvonnan viranomaisverkostoa ja suuntautuu aktiiviseen kansainväliseen yhteistyöhön. Palveluksessamme on noin 230 henkilöä. Toimipisteemme sijaitsevat Kuopiossa, Helsingissä ja Turussa. Fimea är ett centralt ämbetsverk som lyder under social- och hälsovårdsministeriet och som har till uppgift att främja befolkningens hälsa och säkerhet genom att övervaka läkemedel, blod- och vävnadspreparat samt genom att utveckla läkemedelsområdet. Fimea har sitt huvudsäte i Kuopio. Fimea har även kontor i Helsingfors och Åbo.

The Finnish National Gallery comprises three museum units: the Ateneum Art Museum, the Museum of Contemporary Art Kiasma and the Sinebrychoff Art Museum. The National Gallery is responsible for the State Art Collection, the management of which rests with the National Gallery’s Collections Department. The State Art Commission with its collections is also part of the Finnish National Gallery. The Finnish National Gallery works to develop Finnish cultural heritage, strengthen the national art collection, produce exhibitions, and make art accessible to audiences. As the national museum of art, it is responsible for the management of art historical archives and art databases. The Finnish National Gallery is the largest art museum organisation in Finland and a national cultural institution that employs approximately 250 professionals. The museums of the National Gallery have approximately 500,000 visitors annually.

Finnish National Opera and Ballet is a house of 530 full time and over a thousand part-time or visiting employees who all work together in order to produce touching and memorable art experiences to the audience around the country. Both Finnish National Opera and Ballet are national art institutions, offering opera and ballet performances and events to the audience of all ages. Guest performances, school operas, TV broadcasts and streaming bring art close to people all over the country and abroad. The Ballet School is the only school in Finland concentrating specifically on classical ballet. Finnish National Opera and Ballet offers employment for professionals in many fields from Opera singer to a shoemaker, including staff from 32 different nationalities. In addition to artistic staff such as the orchestra, dancers and singers, opera also offers employment opportunities for technical staff and a variety of other professions.

We use agile methods while working. Most important tools for us are Python, PHP, MariaDB/MySQL, Linux and other widely used open source tools.

The Finnish Nurses Association is closely involved in developing training, nursing care and working conditions as well as acting as an expert and collaborative body with decision-makers.
