Horry Electric Cooperative was organized April 25, 1940 with 627 charter members. Today, the Cooperative serves more than 90,000 active meters through 26 substations across more than 5,700 miles of distribution line in Horry County. Horry-Georgetown Technical College is a multi-campus, publicly-supported, comprehensive community college within the South Carolina Technical College System, mandated to provide exceptional learning opportunities and technological training to meet the postsecondary educational needs and interests of the residents and businesses of Georgetown and Horry Counties. Greg Young has been involved in the real estate industry on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland Australia for the past 32 years.
