HEART (Humane Education Advocates Reaching Teachers), an award-winning 501(c)(3) nonprofit public charity, is dedicated to fostering a more compassionate and sustainable world through education. In a society facing global issues like interpersonal violence, pollution, institutionalized animal cruelty, and poverty, investing in humane education can have a broad and lasting impact by addressing a range of challenges simultaneously. HEART’s programs empower students to combat real-world problems by helping them make more compassionate and informed choices that affect their fellow human beings, other species, and the natural world.
