Liffey Partnership (formerly known as Ballyfermot Chapelizod Partnership) is a community-led local development company. We were established in 1996 as a response to long term unemployment and poverty. We host and support a wide range of programmes dedicated to employment, education, community, enterprise, parenting, health and wellbeing. We offer wines of exceptional value from dedicated producers with an emphasis on family owned wineries. A pioneer of the Liquor Control Board of Ontarios consignment program, Lifford has grown to be the largest supplier of premium wine to restaurants and discerning consumers in the province. In 2010, Lifford became a national agent in Canada with our acquisition of Saverio Schiralli Agencies, an iconic company founded in 1953. The Schiralli portfolio features many of Italy's best with the addition of a superb collection of liqueurs and spirits. In 2011, the acquisition of Prevedello and Mathews further strengthened our management team and our portfolio. This year, our combined companies will sell more than 800,000 cases in Canada. We are the market leader in Ontario as the largest supplier of premium wines to the LCBO.

The Lifft Sling was created in the UK in 2007 by a mother who wanted a stylish, comfortable and simple to use baby carrier. She loved carrying her baby in a baby carrier, but just couldn’t find one which met all of her needs. She wanted a sling which was comfortable, easy to use and stylish and would appeal to men and women alike. The innovative design with a stretch panel to fit snuggly around the baby was an instant success. It was part of a BBC2 TV programme, Britain’s Next Big Thing with entrepreneur Theo Paphitis, who followed new products in to larger markets, including Boots (who stocked Lifft throughout their stores). The University of Central Lancashire conducted a biometric analysis of an adult carrying a baby with or without a Lifft Sling to prove that using a sling improves the carrier’s posture.

Lift Brigade, a 501(c)(3) public charity, was founded by Lance White who was diagnosed with cancer at age 13. Impacted by his own experience, and with three (3) years of treatment still ahead of him, Lance used his Make-A-Wish® to help others. Lance started Lift Brigade because, "I wanted to help kids ‘get away,’ find a place to cope with their treatment experience, and to know they are not alone."
