When Mary opened Canada’s first shortbread bakery in 1981, she did it with an uncompromising commitment to quality and unconditional love of real creamery butter. To this day, we still do things her way: happily crafting small-batch, all-butter shortbread by hand using only simple, premium ingredients. So, go ahead and enjoy yourself. Mary Potter Hospice is a local charity that provides specialist palliative care services for people living in Wellington, Porirua and Kāpiti. We provide equitable, compassionate, free-of-charge hospice care working primarily with patients, families and carers in the place they call home, and at our Inpatient Unit in Newtown, Wellington.
