We are a leading Technology Centre based in Tyndall National Institute, Cork, Ireland. We are funded by EI and IDA Ireland to focus on impactful application based research. We specialise in delivering research on advanced RF and mixed signal circuits. We research and develop circuits that sense, condition, convert, interpret and connect the physical and digital worlds. Our highly experienced research team consists of 15 distinguished Principal Investigators, with 70 research staff across six academic member universities and institutes of technology. We also bring in world class overseas professors and industry experts to consult with us and to give seminars to industry and academia. We are led by an industry steering board and our research programme is driven by our industry partners. Companies work with us to create ground breaking research projects to add value and insight to their business. Our innovative research has unique application impact in such areas as future communications networks, medical devices and smart agriculture. We have completed 10 commercial IP licenses to date and currently have over 35 research projects underway, with most of our research staff transferring to our industry partners on completion of their research. We actively work to improve the microelectronics ecosystem in Ireland which delivers far reaching benefits to both industrial and academic research partners.

PROVIDING SPECIALIZED ACCESS SERVICES FOR NEARLY 20 YEARS McClain & Co., Inc. was established in 1998 to provide support services to engineering firms and government agencies for the inspection and maintenance of our nation's infrastructure. Our industry requires specialized access to transportation and railroad structures such as bridges, tunnels, overpasses, dams, highway signs & lighting structures. Over the years McClain & Co., Inc. has evolved into a diverse organization with three divisions under one roof: Specialized Access Equipment Rentals for Highway & Rail Bridges and Structures, Insulated Utility Equipment for Transmission or Distribution of Utilities and Traffic Safety Equipment Sales & Services. Our continuing goal is to provide our clients with the highest quality specialized equipment to facilitate safe project completion. On the road or on the rails, our fleet can assist you with inspections, general maintenance, construction and more. All our rental units are inspected according to ANSI-SIA A92.8-2008 specifications on a yearly basis. The Utility division was created this year to compliment our existing rental services. McClain now offers insulated baskets on a new fleet of Bucket Trucks, Derrick Diggers, Material Handlers, Pole Trailers and more for the Utility Industry.
