Northern Support Services (NSS) is a non-profit community organisation created by people with a disability for people with disabilities and their families in the 1940s. From the very beginning we have been empowering people in their life choices and deliver a broad range of services to people with disabilities and their families in the northern region of Melbourne. Services include day programs and accredited courses, accommodation, respite, outreach, Work Education programs and projects around providing employment opportunities and alternative housing solutions. Service delivery is in a range of community settings including, recreation and fitness centres, neighbourhood houses, TAFE, colleges, commercial business settings and specialist service providers thereby maximising flexibility and choice, community connectedness and inclusive lifestyles. Today, Northern Territory Airports (NTAPL) employ over 80 full-time employees alongside contracted personnel to provide key airport services. As a direct airport group of companies together with our airline customers, we handled over 2.4 million arriving, departing and transit passengers, and the combination of all of the on airport and off-airport businesses that support them contribute over 1.5% of the Gross State Product of the Northern Territory. Moreover, we employ over 1600 people when including our airline customers. Northern Territory Airports Pty Ltd (NTAPL), a subsidiary of Airport Development Group (ADG), owns 100% of Darwin International Airport Pty Ltd (DIA) and Alice Springs Airport Pty Ltd ASA) who are respectively the holders of a 50 year lease over Darwin International Airport and Alice Springs Airport with free options to renew for a further 49 years.

The Northern Territory Council of Social Service (NTCOSS) is the peak body for the Social and Community Sector in the NT and an advocate for social justice on behalf of people and communities who may be affected by poverty and disadvantage. The NTCOSS team is located in both Darwin and Alice Springs, and for over 40 years has worked with its membership base, government and other stakeholders to strive for better outcomes for Territorians. NTCOSS represents a varied service sector, with members contributing different experiences and perspectives. The Community Sector in the NT is made up of community managed, non-government, not for profit organisations that work in social and community service delivery, sector development and advocacy. The Community Sector plays a vital role in creating social wellbeing for all Territorians and in building safe and healthy communities. The Sector provides services that enable people to access and participate in society, including health, education, employment, economic development and family and community life. NTCOSS members are central to our work and advocacy. As a representative voice of the Sector to government, NTCOSS seeks to strengthen the Sector so that it can continue providing its essential services to the NT community.

Northern Tier Energy is an independent downstream energy company with refining, retail, and pipeline operations that serve the PADD II region of the United States. Refining Business Northern Tier Energys refining business primarily consists of an 89,500 barrels per calendar day (96,500 barrels per stream day) refinery located in St. Paul Park, Minnesota. The St. Paul Park Refinery is one of only two refineries in Minnesota and one of four refineries in the Upper Great Plains area within the PADD II region. . The refinery produces a broad slate of refined products including gasoline, diesel, jet fuel and asphalt, which are then marketed to resellers and consumers primarily in the PADD II region. Northern Tier Energy also owns various storage and transportation assets, including a light products terminal, a heavy products terminal, storage tanks, rail loading/unloading facilities and a Mississippi river dock. The refining business also includes a 17% interest in the Minnesota Pipe Line Company, which owns and operates the Minnesota Pipeline, a 455,000 bpd crude oil pipeline system that transports crude oil (primarily from Western Canada and North Dakota) for approximately 300 miles from the Enbridge pipeline hub at Clearbrook, Minnesota to the refinery. Retail Business As of June 30, 2013, the retail business operated 164 convenience stores under the SuperAmerica brand and also supported 75 franchised convenience stores, which are also operated under the SuperAmerica brand. The refinery supplies substantially all of the gasoline and diesel sold in the company-operated and franchised convenience stores. Northern Tier Energy also owns and operates SuperMoms Bakery, which prepares and distributes baked goods and other prepared food items for sale in the company-operated and franchised convenience stores and other third party locations.
