SATAC is central to further education in South Australia and the Northern Territory. Our job is to guide and support admission to tertiary study. We provide an open, honest, and fair admissions service to applicants and institutions. We shape the tertiary sector by offering an expert voice and through cross-industry collaboration. Each year SATAC’s experienced team helps thousands of people navigate the application and selection process for university and TAFE SA courses. The South Australian Wine Industry Association is the peak body representing the viticultural and winemaking interests of the state. SAWIA is an essential business partner to wine producers and grape growers of South Australia. The association’s core functions are to provide representation, leadership, advice, information, products and services to members. The association provides practical information and advice to members in many areas - Industrial relations / employee relations, awards and wages, legislation services, human resources / work health safety, job dictionary, OHSW Guidelines, environment, viticulture, environmental excellence award, environment conference, export, export opportunities, promotional programs and market development, regional branding marketing materials, state wine branding materials, liquor licensing, industry training, up to date industry news, monthly newsletters, special member only offers, and wine appreciation courses through its National Wine Education & Training Centre. Members are encouraged to share their expertise via the Employee Relations, Work Health and Safety, and Environment Committees that deal with specific subjects, and provide a forum for the exchange of information, development of policy and new ideas. The Regional Associations Forum also meets regularly ensuring that state and regions work together.

South Bank UTC is a school in Brixton for students aged 14-19 (students enter in either Year 10 or Year 12). Sponsored by London South Bank University and co-sponsored by Skanska UK, Guys and St Thomas and Kings College NHS Foundation Trusts, our partners are fully engaged and work with us to design and deliver projects where students solve real world problems and learn hands-on across a range of subject areas. This contextualised learning and experience of the workplace gives our students the edge academically as they develop understanding grounded in the real world. Students develop the technical skills and exposure to working practices to set them apart from their peers. Our specialism in STEM means students are able to apply their own imagination, ideas and creativity in their learning in a practical context, not forgetting to develop their transferable soft skills including teamwork, leadership and communication. We are non-selective, charge no fees, and are inspected by Ofsted. Given our very specialist, innovative way of working, students who choose to study with us have pathways into university but may choose to pursue higher-level apprenticeships or aim for employment. Our facilities are host to industry-standard equipment. Phase 1 of our building is now complete, with advanced engineering workshops supplemented by laboratory, computing and personalised learning spaces designed specifically for the STEM curriculum. Our workshops are the envy of many universities, let alone schools, with 3D printing, laser cutting, CNC machinery, robotics and virtual reality all extensively used in our day to day learning. Our students are exceptionally motivated young people with a thirst to be creative and to work in an academic, technical environment. They are given support to become effective self-managers and team players, and they are in tune with our business-like way of working, We offer opportunities far beyond those in a traditional school.

Everything we do is aimed at meeting the changing needs of our member-owners in a manner that is beneficial to the membership as a whole. South Bay Credit Union was organized on February 10, 1953. The original credit union, Centinela-South Bay Credit Union, originally served the employees of the cities of Redondo Beach and Manhattan Beach and their families. Over the years, the Credit Union expanded its member groups to include other organizations throughout the South Bay area. This expansion primarily focused on the public sector, including local school districts, fire, and police departments. After nearly 50 years serving the South Bay community, SBCU officially changed its charter and became a community-based credit union on February 28, 2002.
