We improve the health of our communities by preserving and restoring natural areas and open space, protecting rivers and watersheds, and promoting stewardship of our environment. The support of more than 5,000 members and 500 volunteers helps us carry out our mission. We focus our work in DuPage, Kane, Kendall and Will Counties where we have helped preserve more than 35,000 acres of open space, and we also go where we are needed in LaSalle, DeKalb and Grundy Counties.

The Constellation Fund was created in 2018 to find, fund, and partner with the most impactful nonprofits in the Twin Cities. We are evidence-directed, heart-driven, and community-informed. The mission of the Constellation Fund is to fight poverty in the Twin Cities by raising the living standards of individuals living below the poverty line in our seven-county metropolitan area. Constellation uses the best available evidence to identify, fund, and partner with the people and organizations making the biggest impacts in the fight against poverty in our community.
