The Center for Koru Mindfulness trains and certifies individuals to teach the Koru Mindfulness curriculum. The Koru Mindfulness faculty are the orginators of Koru, with years of experience teaching mindfulness and working with young adults. The Center also provides resources and support for certified Koru teachers, helping them to establish Koru Mindfulness programs for the people they serve. Certified Koru Mindfulness teachers are trained to offer all 3 components of the Koru Mindfulness curriculum and have access to all the materials they need to develop, market, and teach Koru Mindfulness.

The Center for Literacy and Learning is a Louisiana-based nonprofit organization that advances literacy and learning through evidence-based practices in the classroom, home and community. Founded in 1992 as the Center for Development and Learning, or CDL, the organization changed to its current name in September 2021 to better reflect its overall mission and commitment to advancing literacy and learning.

We are an innovative mental health and wellness center treating children, adolescents and adults using Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and other evidence-based approaches. We offer Mindfulness classes for the general population, as well as for those with anxiety, depression and other mental health issues. We have Mindfulness classes for children and families, as well as group therapy for children and adults with Body Focused Repetitive Behaviors (BFRBs), such as hair pulling and skin picking. We specialize in treating anxiety disorders, OCD, PTSD, depression, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, behavior disorders, personality disorders, and eating disorders using evidence-based approaches to get you or your child feeling better as quickly as possible. We have 18 clinicians who are independently contracted with the center, including psychologists, social workers, licensed professional counselors, psychiatrists, and psychiatric nurse practitioners. We offer a variety of corporate programs and speaking engagements, including mindfulness to increase productivity, manage stress, and for general health and wellness. We also provide forensic services including psychological evaluations, consultation with attorneys, and expert witness testimony.
