The University of Ljubljana is the oldest and largest higher education, scientific and research institution in Slovenia, ranking among the top 3% of universities in the world. It was founded in 1919. There are 23 faculties and three academies of art operating within the University. They work together with renowned universities from around the world and offer study programmes in all three cycles, in the fields of natural sciences, engineering, social sciences, humanities, medicine, and the arts. We connect researchers with industry, help with the commercialisation of inventions and creation of spin-outs. We are also responsible for legal protection of intellectual property. The 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 Office offers professional research support services with the aim to secure national and international research funding. We assist researchers in the pre-award phase providing high-level strategic and administrative support at all levels and career stages. The Office also supports institutional and national research initiatives such as ethics and integrity, policy, research promotion, and infrastructures. The Faculty of Computer and Information Science of the University of Ljubljana is Slovenia’s leading educational and research institution for computer and information science. The Faculty’s main function is educating undergraduate and graduate computer science experts of various profiles, as well as engaging in research work which generates new knowledge and uncovers solutions to contemporary problems. The Faculty also offers additional educational activities in computer and information science for several professional profiles by hosting lectures and workshops to increase the level of computer literacy in the country. Its public events also serve to popularise ideas about computers, especially among young people. The Faculty was founded in 1996, when the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science split into two separate faculties. The study of computer science itself began at the University of Ljubljana back in 1973, first as an elective programme after the 2nd year of electrical engineering study, and has been an independent study programme since 1982. In 2014, the Faculty moved to a new building in Brdo at the outskirts of Ljubljana. The Faculty is a full member of the University of Ljubljana. The University of Louisiana at Lafayette (UL Lafayette) offers bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees. With over 19,000 students, it is the second-largest four-year public university in Louisiana. UL Lafayette has been designated an R1 university, indicating "very high research activity," by the Carnegie Classification of Institutions of Higher Learning, placing it among the nation’s top tier of public and private research institutions. UL Lafayette is among the top 10 universities in the U.S. for its percentage of research and development expenditures funded by business, according to the National Science Foundation. Every year, UL Lafayette hosts Lagniappe Day for students, which includes activities such as canoe races in Cypress Lake and a campus-wide crawfish boil with more than 10,000 pounds of Louisiana crawfish. We are rich in tradition and proud of our unique regional culture. Service learning is integrated into all UL Lafayette students’ college experience. Students and faculty members provide about 150,000 community service hours, on average, every year. The University hosts the only campus-based AmeriCorps program in Louisiana.

The primary purposes of ULM are instruction, research, creative activity, and service. Degree programs are offered by the three Colleges and the Graduate School.

The University of Louisville is a state supported research university located in Kentucky's largest metropolitan area. It was a municipally supported public institution for many decades prior to joining the university system in 1970. The University has three campuses. The 287-acre Belknap Campus is three miles from downtown Louisville and houses seven of the university's 11 colleges and schools. The Health Sciences Center is situated in downtown Louisville's medical complex and houses the university's health related programs and the University of Louisville Hospital. The 243-acre Shelby Campus is located in eastern Jefferson County.
