Women in Property creates opportunities, expands knowledge and inspires change for women working in the property and construction industry. We are a networking and professional development membership organisation which, for over thirty years, has been working with businesses and other industry groups to help redress the gender imbalance. Women in Property links members to fellow professionals across sectors and across the UK. We are multi-disciplinary, encouraging an exchange of ideas and sharing of expertise, often through our extensive schedule of best practice workshops, site visits, key note talks and social events. We believe that success and its rewards should be founded on merit and expertise, rather than on gender. We actively seek an industry that is balanced, diverse and inclusive, so we nurture girls aspiring to a career in the built environment, as well as supporting women in 'mid career'โ and at board level, many making the most of our acclaimed Mentoring programme. @WiPUK
Women in Rail (WR), a charity founded in 2012, comprises men and women from the UK railway sector, working together alongside major stakeholders in the industry to support the development, promotion and attraction of women in the UK railway sector and, more broadly, improve gender balance, equality, diversity and inclusion in rail. WR holds regular networking events and development workshops across the UK through its 8 regional groups and runs a very successful cross-industry mentoring programme where both female and male mentees receive guidance from more senior industry professionals to support them in their professional development, personal growth and confidence. WR currently has 5,000 members representatives of all grades and roles and a wide range of companies within the UK rail industry. WRโs head office is in London with regional groups across the UK including Scotland, North West, Yorkshire, Wales, West Midlands, East Midlands, London and the South West. Membership of Women in Rail is free. To find out more about the Charity and to sign up to become a member, visit: http://womeninrail.org/

WIRLC was founded by Jennifer DiPasquale and Melissa Campanelli to address the inequity between women in leadership positions within the retail industry vs. overall women in the industry. A space was needed to connect and uplift these women, and WIRLC was born.

Women in STEM Plymouth - WISP, was formed in 2013 when the Plymouth Manufacturersโ Group (PMG) identified โincreasing diversity in STEMโ as a key objective to continue Plymouthโs growing manufacturing and STEM economy. Representatives from a range of local STEM employers formed the voluntary leadership committee, we had our first event in 2014, and the rest is history! Women in STEM Plymouth's overall aim is to encourage more women to take up science, technology, engineering or maths (STEM) jobs and to help women to stay in STEM roles. We also promote women in STEM within the city, support those in STEM roles and inspire young women to think about STEM as an option for their future. Established four years ago, WISP is managed by a voluntary committee along with advisers. It runs networking events, Lunch & Learn sessions, social gatherings, and site visits to encourage women (and men who support our values) to network outside of their own organisation. Many of our members are the only women in their role or company, and so value the interaction with others who are in a similar field.
financial services
Women in Super (WIS) is a national advocacy and networking group for women employed in the superannuation and financial services industries. WIS advocates on behalf of its members and women generally to government, politicians, unions, employer organisations, regulators, and superannuation funds to improve womenโs retirement prospects and access to superannuation. WIS provides education and support to assist women in gaining opportunities to develop broader business, professional and personal networks, and aims to educate the greater community in order to improve their knowledge of superannuation. WIS strongly supports and encourages the appointment of women to superannuation fund boards, and works with other organisations and stakeholders to achieve this. Each year, WIS oversees the organisation of the Motherโs Day Classic, a national fun run and walk established by the network to raise funds and awareness for breast cancer research.
