AKK:ssa johdetaan, valvotaan, hallinnoidaan, kehitetään ja toteutetaan suomalaista autourheilua sekä edistetään suomalaisen autourheilun asemaa ja näkyvyyttä sekä kansallisesti että kansainvälisesti, eettisten ja kestävää kehitystä tukevien periaatteiden mukaisesti. AKK:n muodostavat autourheilun kansallinen lajiliitto AKK-Motorsport ry sekä lajiliiton 100% omistama markkinointiyhtiö AKK Sports Oy. Kansallinen lajiliitto on kansainvälisen autourheiluliiton FIA:n oikeuksienhaltija Suomessa. Markkinointiyhtiön suurimpana vuosittaisena projektina on rallin MM-sarjan Suomen osakilpailun, Neste Rallin järjestäminen. Lisäksi yhtiö myy tv-tuotantopalveluja. AKK directs, supervises, sanctions, develops and runs automobile sport in Finland, also promoting the status and visibility of Finnish motor sport both nationally and internationally, following ethical principles in support of sustainability. AKK comprises of national sporting authority AKK-Motorsport ry and AKK Sports Ltd, a marketing company fully owned by the ASN. AKK-Motorsport ry is recognized by international automobile federation FIA as Finland's Sporting Power. The biggest annual project of the marketing company is organizing of Neste Rally Finland, the nation's round of FIA World Rally Championship. The company also deals with TV-production services. The combined offices of AKK Sports and AKK-Motorsport are located near Helsinki's International Airport, in Vantaa, and it has 20 full-time employees in all.
