Alpina Group started the shipping activities in 1984. Alpina Chartering was established by second generation of a shipping family and has formed a strategic partnership with Tomini Shipping. The partnership is based on 40 years of close shipping relations with Tomini Shipping and includes chartering and commercial management of 13 newbuilding Ultramax and Kamsarmax Bulk Carriers and 4 secondhand Supramax Bulk Carriers. This platform has given us the opportunity to work on long term Contracts of Affreightment and expand the Tomini/Alpina fleet further with a combination of owned and chartered vessels.

Alpine Academy is a licensed Residential Treatment Center for youth ages 12-18. Our students struggle with emotional disturbances and traumas that are severe enough to prevent them from being successful in school and interpersonal relationships. Alpine Academy maintains academic accreditation through AdvancEd. Alpine is also accredited by the Teaching-Family Association to use the Teaching-Family Model, a research-driven and evidence-based model proven to positively affect change in the lives of clients. Alpine Academy is a member of the National Association of Therapeutic Schools and Programs (NATSAP) and the National Association of Private Special Education Centers (NAPSEC).
