The American University of Integrative Sciences, School of Medicine is located on the island of Barbados and is recognized as a premier school in the Caribbean. AUIS offers a four-year Doctor of Medicine (MD) program designed to meet the demands of modern medicine.

The American University of Nigeria is the first American university in Sub-Saharan Africa.
