Anime North is a fan-run convention for fans of Japanese animation, comics, and other forms of media. Founded in 1998 and located in Toronto, Ontario, the convention has grown from a one-day event of several hundred people, to three days and 15,000 attendees each year.

Anime USA began in 1999 as a 3-day, fan-hosted convention in northern Virginia, celebrating Japanese animation, art, culture, music, and history. It was started by fans and in 2004, became a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Anime USA’s mission is to promote, as well as educate the public about Japanese arts and popular culture. Anime USA continues to organize and host an annual event of the same name, Anime USA, in addition to other educational events in the Mid-Atlantic region. As in the beginning, Anime USA remains an organization "of Otaku, by Otaku, for Otaku".

Em Health Crew, os 5 amigos Jon, Pete, Laura, Amanda e Tim viajam em aventuras pelo corpo humano após serem miniaturizados no laboratório secreto de sua escola. Dentro do corpo humano, um cenário que desperta a curiosidade e interesse de todos nós, os amigos conhecerão Snack-Trap - o monstro da gordura, Cárie, a estranha, o implacável General Aureus e seu exército de estafilococos, entre outros vilões da nossa saúde. Em suas missões, cada um terá que demonstrar suas habilidades e vencer seus pontos fracos, como a dificuldade de Jon em aceitar seus erros, a insegurança de Laura, a falta de atenção de Pete, a teimosia de Tim ou a dificuldade de Amanda quando tem uma ideia sua negada.
