​The Arab Center for Research and Policy Studies is an independent research institution, dedicated to furthering scholarship in the social sciences and humanities. Established in the autumn of 2010, as an Arabic language academic organization based in Doha, the Arab Center has another office in Beirut, and three sister organizations in Tunis, Paris and Washington, DC. The Center’s sponsors and oversees a number of academic ventures, including the Doha Dictionary of the Arabic Language. Notably, the ACRPS is also the founding sponsor of the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies, which enrolled its first cohort of Master’s degree students in 2015. The Center boasts a robust publishing record, having printed hundreds of academic titles and five peer reviewed journals. The Center also regularly brings together academics from around the Arab region and further afield to discuss issues of topical concern to scholars in the Arab region. Through its active research efforts, the Center contributes towards the creation and maintenance of a robust network of Arab researchers committed to societal advancement, and to bridging the gap between Arab academic institutions and those across the globe.

Arab Center Washington DC (ACW) is a non-partisan, non-profit research organization located in Washington, District of Columbia dedicated to providing insight on U.S. foreign policy in the Middle East, as well as furthering economic, political, and social understanding of the Arab World in the United States. ACW relies on contributions from supporters, non-profits, foundations and corporations to provide an objective view from experts in Arab affairs. As a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, contributions to ACW are deductible under Section 170 of the International Revenue Code. Objective: ACW aspires to advance knowledge in the United States of the Arab World and American interests and policies in the region through educational exchange, academic research and policy analysis. We aim to become a key convener on topics that are both timely and salient to multiple stakeholders in the U.S. and the Arab World. We seek to drive conversations, whenever possible, toward developing actionable ideas and strategies, and to spread deeper political, cultural, economic and social understanding of the Middle East.
