We got our start in 1935 as the Kalamazoo School Employees Credit Union. Our goal: to meet the financial needs of local educators. Since then, our mission has evolved and we now provide services to all types of families and businesses across the state of Michigan. In 2016, we became Arbor Financial Credit Union. The new name was designed to change the perception that you had to be a teacher to join. With the reference to trees, we also wanted to reinforce our strong community roots, commitment to growth, and our environmentally friendly mindset. Arbor Place, Inc. is a private non-profit organization located in Menomonie, Wisconsin, and was established in 1979. The organization that started out providing support for individuals in early recovery from alcoholism, has grown into a professional organization licensed by the State of Wisconsin to provide seven levels of care for substance use and mental health disorders. This includes primary and transitional residential treatment, residential intoxication monitoring, day treatment, mental health and substance use disorder outpatient clinic, and prevention service.
