L’ASEI, créée en 1950 et reconnue d’utilité publique, est une association qui accompagne les personnes en situation de handicap dans la réalisation de leur projet de vie. Elle agit pour une société plus inclusive, et milite pour garantir l’accès aux droits fondamentaux de tous. Son projet associatif « Agir pour tous les possibles » est le socle de son action. Ayant pour principe fondamental l’auto-détermination et le pouvoir d’agir, l’ASEI intervient dans de nombreux domaines : éducation, soins, habitat inclusif, emploi, et déploie son accompagnement au travers de ses 107 services et établissements sanitaires et médico-sociaux. L’ASEI adapte ses modes d’accompagnement pour répondre aux besoins de chaque personne au travers de dispositifs sur mesure et tient compte de la complexification des parcours, ainsi que des besoins et envies de chaque personne. Acteur de l'économie sociale et solidaire, avec un budget annuel de près de 220 M€, l'ASEI rassemble plus de 3 500 professionnels et accompagne plus de 10 000 personnes, en Occitanie, Nouvelle Aquitaine et en Ile de France, chaque année.
