Assistive Technology Australia is a leading information, education, and advisory centre for assistive technology and the built environment. We are aslo a Registered Training Orgaisation and operate an Access Consultancy. Our purpose is to provide impartial advice, information and leadership that builds capacity and optimises the value of assistive technology in leading a life of choice We are located in Westpoint Blacktown, NSW Australia and are a not-for-profit, community based organisation and Public Benevolent institution registered as a charity with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC). We were founded in 1979 as Independent Living Centre NSW. In 2003 we became an Australian public company limited by guarantee and Assistive Technology Australia is our registered business name.

AssistList.ca is a free non-profit service for the Greater Vancouver community to connect and exchange previously-owned home health equipment such as bathroom, bedroom, daily living, mobility and transfer aids. AssistList is made up of a multidisciplinary team of volunteers with backgrounds in health care, engineering, information technology, marketing, design and project management. Our mission is to make a positive contribution to the community and we welcome volunteers who want to contribute their time to this cause.
