ABC/GMC is also home to Greater Michigan Construction Academy which facilitates opportunities for career growth in the construction industry through continuing education programs. Providing such programs is important to the construction industry to achieve knowledgeable employees and a safe work environment.

Associated Builders and Contractors- Empire State Chapter proudly serves as the voice of the merit shop in New York. Nation-wide ABC is a resource for over 25,000 merit contractors and other construction industry professionals. ABC is also a political organization (PAC) acting to protect and enhance free enterprise and the merit philosophy in the construction industry. The Empire State Chapter services over 400 members state-wide from our central office in East Syracuse. We have offices across the state in Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, Albany, Long Island and New York City.

The Massachusetts Chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors is the largest construction trade association in the Commonwealth, representing over 450 local general contractor, subcontractor, supplier and associate companies. These companies employ more than 25,000 men and women throughout Massachusetts. Our association exists to advocate for and promote the work of merit shop contractors and their employees who represent the majority of the construction workforce in Massachusetts. ACS was founded by a group of Principals of Christian Schools who strongly desired to be loosely coupled together as peers engaged in similar roles. We wanted to meet together to talk and share, but without any sense of control from a central body, or any requirement for all members to think in the same way about various issues –not only educational issues, but issues of faith as well.
