Our Company is one of the biggest repair station in Europe, providing heavy maintenance services. It has been part of Alitalia up to the end of 2009 when the privatization process took place. From 1964 up to 1990, we were the technical division of ATI, an Italian airline set up by Alitalia to operate domestic flights within Italy. When ATI was merged into Alitalia, the technical division was spun off to establish the new company. We had the target to provide base maintenance services, up to the “D” check, for the huge Alitalia MD80 fleet (90 aa/cc). Nowadays, we have a contract on exclusive basis up to 2020, with CAI-Alitalia Airlines, to perform the base maintenance for the entire narrow body fleet of A319, A320, A321 for a total amount of 115 aa/cc. Wide body capabilities has been added starting from last quarter of 2012. The board of directors has been changed over the privatization process and the company has been reorganized to better face the challenge of the market. Thanks to an agreement signed by the Unions, we can now rely on a new approach of work flexibility. Our facilities are located at the Naples’ International Airport, where we have 5 hangars for a total amount of 15 bays, including the painting one. A 4400 sq./m workshop support all the technical operations together with a huge warehouse. A training school, EASA Part 147 certified, complete our range of capabilities.
