Il centro di addestramento Accademia del Volo nasce nel 2011 presso l'Aeroporto militare di Viterbo e rappresenta una delle eccellenze di Studium Srl, società italiana leader nel settore dell'istruzione e formazione professionale. Nel 2014 la sede dell'Accademia si trasferisce in Umbria, all'interno dell'Aeroporto Internazionale “San Francesco d'Assisi” a Perugia, con l'obiettivo di accrescere il prestigio della scuola operando in un ambiente altamente professionale e stimolante. L’Accademia SantaGiulia è parte integrante del sistema pubblico dell’Alta Formazione Artistica, Musicale e Coreutica (AFAM) afferente al Ministero dell’Istruzione, dell’Università e della Ricerca (MIUR). È tra le prime Accademie italiane ad aver recepito i D.M. 03/07/2009 n. 89 - D.M. 30/09/09 n. 123 che hanno ristrutturato radicalmente il sistema formativo delle Accademie statali e legalmente riconosciute. L’Accademia mette al primo posto lo sbocco professionale degli studenti e punta a saldare le competenze artistiche tradizionali con lo sviluppo delle nuove tecnologie digitali. L'Accademia di Belle Arti di Catania, ha iniziato la sua attività l8 gennaio 1968, inaugurando una fase di rinnovo e si radicherà territorialmente come polo delle arti del mediterraneo, Nunzio Sciavarrello (1918-2013) ne sarà lanimatore.I Corsi tradizionali presenti nella nostra Accademia (Pittura, Scultura, Decorazione, Scenografia, Grafica d'arte), diretti e sostenuti da maestri indiscussi per professionalità e rigore intellettuale, corsi che storicamente hanno aperto le porte al successo artistico e professionale di migliaia di giovani artisti, oggi presenti nelle più importanti manifestazioni internazionali, dialogano efficacemente con il variegato e affascinante mondo delle sperimentazioni, linfa vitale per la ricerca e linnovazione, attraverso una serie di nuovi percorsi legati al Graphic Design, Design della comunicazione visiva, Arti Tecnologiche e ai corsi di nuova attivazione come fashion design e fotografia e grafica-illustrazione. Oggi, infatti, inevitabilmente i campi si intrecciano, poiché non esiste produzione senza riflessione teorica, né teoria che possa prescindere dalla progettualità.
