The Australasian Cemeteries & Crematoria Association (ACCA) is a non-profit professional organisation that exists to provide leadership, professional services and communication to the cemetery and crematorium industry. ACCA is financially supported by a strong membership from around Australia and overseas, with the Australian Members collectively representing over 85% of Australias annual burials and cremations.

The Australian Centre for Financial Studies (ACFS) is a public-interest research centre of Monash Business School. It specialises in leading-edge finance and investment research. ACFS aims to boost the global credentials of Australias financial industry; bridge the gap between academia, government and industry; and support Australia as an international centre for finance practice, research and education. ACFS has developed a strong reputation as an independent voice on industry-relevant matters. It contributes to public debate on financial sector issues; conducts detailed, expert analysis; delivers unbiased contracted research; hosts conferences, seminars, boardroom briefings and roundtables; and facilitates three Research Program Committees that link senior industry and academic leaders in the fields of banking, funds management and insurance. ACFS was formerly a consortium of Monash University, RMIT University and Finsia (Financial Services Institute of Australasia). Prior to 2010, it was known as the Melbourne Centre for Financial Studies (MCFS). MCFS was launched in 2005 with seed funding from the Victorian government.

The Australian Centre for Heart Health, (formerly the Heart Research Centre) conducts research into the prevention and management of chronic diseases including cardiovascular diease, their social, psychological and behavioural aspects. Findings are used to develop, implement and evaluate interventions to improve the quality of life of patients, families and communities and to encourage healthy behaviours in order to reduce premature disability and death from cardiovascular disease. Results of clinical studies aim to improve the delivery of health services for cardiac patients and their families. Applied research and the training of practitioners in the field are also important aspects of the Centre’s work.

The Australian Centre for Photography is the leading voice in Australian photography, fostering an inspirational and diverse program with an eye on the next generation. We inspire people to discover and love photography. We create inspiring experiences for all. From first experiences with the photographic image or a camera, through to higher and adult education programs, we develop interest, skills, careers and the future of photography. We work with emerging, mid-career and established artists and practitioners to create an inventive program that explores the broadest spectrum of photographic and lens-based practice. We develop partnerships and collaborate broadly with private and public entities to expose our audiences to exceptional work and ideas. We invest in the future of photography and lens-based practice. We foster opportunities for new talent, new voices and new technologies as well as promoting the work of our alumni. Our ambitious program and partnerships will be realised through open representation, education and discourse. As one of the longest running contemporary art spaces, founded in 1973, ACP has been a creative force in the cultural life of Australia for over 40 years. Head-quartered in Sydney, the ACP fosters partnerships to present innovative programs, regionally, nationally and internationally. The Australian Research Council Centre of Excellence for Robotic Vision will allow robots to see, to understand their environment using the sense of vision. This is the missing capability that currently prevents robots from performing useful tasks in the complex, unstructured and dynamically changing environments in which we live and work. Robots with visual perception – that can see, learn and respond as humans do – are the key enabling technologies for an array of emerging applications in robotics and automation. The Centre has four research objectives: • Robust Vision will develop new sensing technologies and robust algorithms that allow robots to use visual perception in all viewing conditions: night and day, rain or shine, summer or winter, fast moving or static. • Vision and Action will create new theory and methods for using image data for control of robotic systems that navigate through space, grasp objects, interact with humans and use motion to assist in seeing. • Semantic Vision will produce novel learning algorithms that can both detect and recognise a large, and potentially ever increasing, number of object classes from robotically acquired images, with increasing reliability over time • Algorithms and Architectures will create novel technologies and techniques to ensure that the algorithms developed across the themes can be run in real-time on robotic systems deployed in large-scale real-world applications. The Centre has been funded for $25.6M over 7 years, of which $19.0M is from the Australian Research Council Centre of Excellence program. The Centre comprises 13 chief investigators and 6 partner investigators from 10 organisations spanning robotics and computer vision across the globe. The Centre's Director is Professor Peter Corke, Queensland University of Technology.

The Australian Centre of Further Education was established in January 2009. ACFE started as an IRON (Initial Registration of Overseas Nurses) Program education provider and is successfully delivering the program for five years. As a result, our graduates are now serving the Australian health sector as Registered Nurses. The program is approved by the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Accreditation Australia (ANMAC) and the Australian Health and Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). The purpose of this program is to provide overseas trained nurses with skills and knowledge required by AHPRA to meet the Australian Nursing and Midwifery competency standards to practise as Registered Nurses(RN) or Enrolled Nurses (EN) in Australian Health Care setting. To date, ACFE has produced over 1000 graduates of the IRON Program as well as many who have gone on to complete our Diploma in Nursing courses and boasts a high rate of employability of its graduate. It has become one of the most reliable and respectable education providers of the IRON Program in Australia. ACFE is an accredited Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and CRICOS provider. We are registered with, and regulated by the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA). ACFE will continue to serve both the International and Domestic markets in various areas of Health and Community Services. As the Australian Centre of Further Education, we aim to help international students become fully qualified health practitioners within Australia. We help nurses who are trained overseas, reskill and requalify for Australia’s strict health practising guidelines through our IRON program. We also offer courses in business and leadership including Management, International Trade and Leadership. We also offer a range of courses for health practitioners including, Nursing, Aged Care support and our new Diploma of Dental Technology.

Australian Centre Pty. Ltd. has been operating for 25 years and has purchased a prominent site in a prime location in the heart of Sydney (beside Hyde Park) with extensive ground floor frontage (inside Oaks Hyde Park Plaza). Onsite counsellors and migration agents are available to assist and support overseas students with a range of ancillary services such as airport pick-ups, accommodation assistance and complimentary student visa applications.
