Om dat te bereiken produceert AGEM groene energie (samen met commerciële partijen), levert AGEM groene energie aan Achterhoekse particulieren en bedrijven, en stimuleert AGEM maatregelen om energie te besparen. Dit alles om in 2030 in de Achterhoek evenveel energie op te wekken als er wordt verbruikt. De coöperatie AGEM is in 2013 opgericht door acht gemeenten uit de Achterhoek in samenwerking met bedrijven en instellingen in de Achterhoek. AGEM Computers is located in Bratislava and performs mainly on the Slovak market represented by up to 5 mil. people. Computers and notebooks Slovak market is over 500 000 pcs, however, this number is rising with increasing importance of information technologies and PC literacy growth. In the recent years the company has grew and strengthened its position on the market. AGEM expanded and opened branch office in Czech republic in august 2005, under the commercial name AGEM CZ. Size of the Czech market is about 10 mil. people and over 700 000 pcs computers and notebooks. Along with strong position in the components business, the company built up distribution of products of worldwide brands, „A brands“. In order to increase market share AGEM actively searches for new distribution channels.
