Danita used her Master's studies to focus on issues that prevent volunteer organizations from having high performing staff and volunteers. Her academic background, coupled with her work experience, positions her as a thought leader in volunteer management for youth serving organizations.

Com mais de 45 anos de experiência a Danka Bolsas é uma indústria que desenvolve e produz bolsas, mochilas, necessaires, termomoldados e similares para o mercado corporativo, marketing promocional, eventos e brindes. Em 1974 surge a Danka, inicialmente com o nome de Uniplas. Em seus primórdios, suas atividades estavam voltadas à produção de capas para eletrodomésticos e cortinas de banheiro. A partir do final da década de 70 adota o nome Danka, criado a partir da junção do nome dos seus sócios fundadores: Bohdan e Kaito; Em 1980, incorporou parte da antiga fábrica de bolsas Barbuy Bailo produtora de pastas executivas e maletas médicas. Esta aquisição significou uma mudança estratégica na empresa, que agora começou a investir em novos produtos. Em pouco tempo, a empresa já atendia todo o país com produtos como: mochilas e lancheiras escolares. No inicio dos anos 90 a Danka mudou seu foco estratégico de atuação, dedicando-se a atender diretamente o mercado corporativo em projetos de Private Label e Ações Promocionais. Em 1997 a empresa começou a fabricar uma linha de mostruários óticos, que até hoje está em constante aperfeiçoamento, e a tornou líder nesse segmento.
