AMICIS wurde 1995, mit Sitz in Wien, von Arash Daie gegründet. Im Laufe der Jahre expandierte Amicis, änderte Standorte und eröffnete mehrere Boutiquen in der Innenstadt. Heute zählt Amicis zu den führenden Luxus Multibrand Stores und führt fünf Boutiquen, vier davon befinden sich auf den Tuchlauben, Wiens renommiertester Einkaufsstraße und ein luxuriöses Designer Outlet in der Seilerstätte.

Gegründet 1895; Tätig an den 2 Fachhochschulen von Winterthur und Rapperswil - sind aber offen für Studenten aller höheren Schulen - insbesondere auch der ETH. Wir fördern gezielt die kulturellen, fachlichen und freundschaftlichen Beziehungen unter Ingenieuren aller Fachrichtungen. Unsere Kontakte erstrecken sich sowohl unter aktiven Studierenden als auch zu diplomierten Ingenieuren verschiedender Berufe und finden quer durch alle Altersgruppen statt. Wir respektieren die Freiheiten der einzelnen Mitglieder. Bei Diskussionen, Erfahrungsaustausch und Geselligkeit erwarten wir, dass jedes Mitglied seine Meinung vertreten kann und dass Argumente offen und fair behandelt werden. Dazu bedarf es des Engagements, der Rücksicht und der Disziplin jedes einzelnen.

Amico & Co is one of the worlds major super yacht repair and refit centres, with large yacht docking facilities, including a brand new 4000T ShipLift and multiple dry-dock solutions, such as a 102m covered graving dock inside the shipyard. Unlike many yards Amico & Co specializes only in this work and has developed facilities at its main yard in Genoa in Northern Italy to meet the precise requirements of repair and refit. It runs a second yard in Loano. Amico & Co can cater for all work whether the job is just to refresh the paintwork right through to a major conversion job that might take a year or more. The yard can handle any type and size of yacht including the latest generation of large sailboats and its specialty is working on classic and antique yachts where dedicated care is required. The aim of Amico & Co is to complete each project on time and on budget. Amico & Co has a long experience of working to meet all Flag State and Class regulations, and interacts with important associations such as Confindustria, UCINA and ICOMIA (Confederation of Italian Industry, Italian Union of Shipyards and Yachting and International Council of Marine Industry Association) and was the first shipyard in Italy to attain the environmental management standard certificate ISO 14001.

The original corporate entity of Amico was created in April, 1987 when company owner and president, Mr. Dominic Amicone began business as Amico Contracting & Engineering Inc. Located just outside of the City of Windsor in Oldcastle, Ontario the majority of the company’s early construction activity occurred in the Windsor/Essex County area. Since that time, the company has grown in size and capability and is currently involved in land development and construction throughout Ontario. Amico has successfully completed many high profile construction contracts since its inception. The Amico group of companies consists of several affiliated and wholly owned Corporations that carry on business in Canada. Amico provides an integrated and diverse range of services centered on site selection, land development and construction. The team at Amico consists of a full-time staff in excess of 150 employees including Professional Engineers, Land Use Planners, Architects, Chartered Accountants, Masters of Business Administration, Sales and Marketing staff, Project Managers, Site Superintendents and a unionized work force. The most significant attribute of our experience wherein we can ensure that each new project is successful and financially sound, is our ability to coordinate and organize the aforementioned skills to deliver turn-key solutions.
