Welcome to Angela’s Swim School. We're specialists in teaching children from as young as 4 months to learn to swim. We're committed to offering swimming lessons to all ages and abilities, including adults, and helping everyone learn to swim to a high standard. Our business model and unique style of teaching is the inspiration of our founder, Angela Wilson. Her career as a competing international swimmer and then as a swimming teacher to thousands of children and adults are the inspriation of the swim school. She shares her teaching methods with all of our instructors and helps them achieve amazing in-class results. Our mission is clear: “To see all children learn a life-saving, life-enhancing skill that sees their confidence flourish and transfer into other areas of their lives. Our wish is that they become not only strong, confident swimmers but strong confident individuals.” Since starting the swim school in 2002, Angela has grown a teaching team around her to help her drive her goals and pass her enthusiasm and passion for swimming to each and every one of our students. The drive to see others achieve in business as well as in swimming is the reason Angela’s Swim School was franchised in 2014. Our franchises and instructors all share Angela's passion for the sport and the importance she places on teaching the correct techniques for a life-long love of swimming. We believe so strongly in our teaching methods, their power to inspire the young and help them achieve that we have created The Swimstylers, our own swim syllabus and badge reward scheme. The Swimstylers are engaging child characters that show the children the swimming journey they're on and give them drive to achieve all the stages. All of our lessons are achievement led and take a staged approach that clearly demonstrates progress to our swimmers and their families.

Angel is a very energetic Agile coach who truly enjoy challenges. Putting in place Lean and Agile concepts and practices in very complex environments is his specialty and passion. As as an Agile coach, trainer, and mentor, hes supported several multinational organizations in their Agile journeys in the last 10 years. During his 18+ years of experience in IT Angel has worked in various roles: Agile coach, R&D manager, software developer, software architect, ScrumMaster, and trainer. Angel is recognized worldwide as an expert in Agile and Scrum and he holds the three highest level certifications in the field: CST (Certified Scrum Trainer), CEC (Certified Enterprise Coach) and CAL Educator (Certified Agile Leadership Educator) by the Scrum Alliance. Additionally, is a co-active coach, specialist in team coaching and systemic leadership, and Management 3.0 licensed trainer. Additionally, he teaches video game production at ESNE (University of Design, Innovation and technology) and Design Thinking at LaSalle University. Angel is also a frequent speaker having participated in more than 40 international conferences and Agile events in Europe, Asia and the Americas.
