Since 1962 we've specialized in the bathroom furniture sector. For us, high quality standards along with exclusivity in manufacturing, customized mirrors, basins, tops, vanity units and accessories are essential. Each step in the production process takes place in our factory so that we can closely monitor it: from the cut to bending, grinding, fusion, painting, and, finally, to the laser works on a special table of the latest generation. Even the vanity units are totally manufactured from the skilled artisans of our woodworking department, directly linked with our illuminating engineering department where mirrors are assembled and wiring made. Before designing a product we focus on the study of its materials: this is the interpretation key of our cooperation with the Department of Chemistry of the University of Florence, with the “Scuola del Vetro” in Murano, Venice, and with several researchers in addition to our ongoing investments in technology. The glass is a recyclable and eco-friendly material, so is our glass processing industry: in fact, we have totally encompassed the model of productive economy with zero environmental impact. Our plant has been created to have a total reuse of the used waters and rainwater. In our plant of more than 12,000 m2 we have installed photovoltaic panels which can produce 80% of our company’s energy needs and can eliminate the environmental impact of our production, according to a precise green strategy. Our packaging aims at the same goal: in our internal box factory we produce made to measure packaging using 100% recycled cardboard for each product that is then ready to be shipped.

A la fin du 19ème siècle, l'Art Nouveau marquait la fusion de l'art et du commerce tandis que les créateurs ancraient les arts dans l'âge industriel. L'Ecole de Nancy fondait, quant à elle, l'Alliance provinciale des industries d'art, domaines jugés jusqu'alors incompatibles. Un siècle plus tard, Nancy voit naître le projet Artem, déclinaison contemporaine de ce mariage des Arts, de la Technologie et du Management. En croisant les cultures, celle du scientifique ou de l'ingénieur de Mines Nancy, celle du manager d'ICN Business School, celle de l'artiste ou du designer de l'Ecole nationale supérieure d'art et de design de Nancy, l'Alliance Artem invite à sortir du cadre en proposant aux étudiants de plonger au cœur d'enjeux et de logiques a priori éloignés de leur domaine d'excellence. Il s'agit de favoriser de nouveaux comportements, adaptés à la complexité, à la transversalité des pratiques et au besoin d'agilité, de mobilité et de réactivité de notre société par des approches pédagogiques transversales, décloisonnant les disciplines enseignées par les 3 écoles. La volonté de conjuguer les talents, dépasser les frontières, activer les complémentarités, ... se retrouve également dans la conception même du campus Artem, symbole de l'Alliance par ses innovations, ses audaces techniques et ses espaces collaboratifs. Ce campus de 10 ha, en cœur de ville, propose notamment des espaces mutualisés promis aux dernières évolutions numériques permettant le croisement des disciplines, la rencontre et le brassage dont la galerie-rue en est l'emblème. Artémat comes from the synthesis of expertise in the fields of Information and Communication Technology and Economic-Managerial Engineering.
