Some of our projects are: using state-of-the art technology to conserve 27,000 year old San (Bushman) rock art paintings in the Drakensberg World Heritage Site, as well as using laser and GIS mapping technology to create the first digital archive of historic buildings in KZN; mountain river rehabilitation and soil erosion control that involves communities in protecting southern Africas increasingly scarce water resources, developing the first large-scale waste recycling programme for KZNs capital city (in conjunction with the Wildlands Conservation Trust) and initiating the first project in northern KZN to protect rare and endangered African butterfly species.
